I'm a commercial auto underwriter turned software engineer. I spent years on the underwriting side at carriers like The Hartford and Crum & Forster, then moved into building the tools underwriters use, including founding and leading development of FleetIns, an underwriting portal that helped grow tens of millions in gross written premium. I care about getting the details right, from type-safe full-stack systems to clear requirements and solid testing. Auth and security are my favorite corner of the stack; I'm drawn to identity and access in particular.
